Blog 67: Concerns

The recent earthquake/tsunami in Japn was really surreal. I felt that it was epic and probably caused mayhem that know one expected. Watching the footage a couple days ago was breath taking. It made stop and reevaluate my life, and what is my purpose of being on this earth. This event made me wonder if this was caused by global warming, natural over time occurance, the moon or maybe something else that know one can really explain. The footage reminded me so much of the movie 2012. HOw the buildings were shaking, how the water was rushing in and how the streets were buckling. It was amazing. There rating the quake to have been an 8.9 on 1-10 scale. So that is really major. I think after finals week I'm going to research some efforts that I can partake in, to help out with this unfortunate event. When I was watching the news about it, a victim who said he lived in Japan for about 20 years, said it was the most terrifying experiences. He exclaimed that he thought it was the end of the world or something. Now imagine whats going through your head during all of this. Questions like, am I going to live or die? Is this really happening, or is this a dream? Now its after, imagine the shock, terror, heartache and uncertainty of whats to come.
Uncertainty is huge, because you never know.
And so it is.
