Honestly, I have more than one best friend which I believe your allowed to have. The select few that I do consider my best friend however, are really great individuals. One of my best friends is a boy. Numerous people don't believe that a guy and a girl can be just friends, best friends at that. However, he is like my brother, I mean I tell him everything and when i say everything I mean everyting. He listens and also gives me a guys perspective on things which is always a plus. Also, in return he tells me about all the girls he's interested in and I give him my girl perspective. We have been friends for probably five or six years now, I love and appreciate him so much. Him and I have so many memories and adventures with eachother. We know how to get what we want from the other person and we also know how to push each others buttons, but in the end the love and that endless bond will always be there. After graduation he went to an art school in Maryland and I came here to OSU, we still keep in touch as much as possible with skype, texting, calling, and aslo the many social networks like Facebook and Twitter. I am truly blessed to have a best friend like him and its wonderful feeling to know that we'll be friends forever creating more memories.
And so it is.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are a close with him as you would be a brother which is great. That sounds like a great friendship and shows that it is possible for a guy and girl to be best friends.
ReplyDeleteI had a best guy friend in high school too, we don't get to talk as much now that I went away for college but I'll get to see him over spring break.
