blog 59: Major

I love my major here at Ohio State. My major right now is Pre-business and minor in communications. It has always been my interest to major in these feilds. Specifically, I want to study marketing while minoring in communications. I had started out wanting to major in communicatios but because I wsnt to go into the Public Relations field I figured business and marketing pretty much ties into that; which I feel that a business degree would look better more so than a communication degree. I can't wait to apply to the Fischer College of Business, so I can begin taking classes that relate more to my major and also what I plan to do in my career. However, the only downside about my major is that there is a lot of math involved, I wouldn't mind but its the fact that I terribly suck at math. With the resources available here on campus and also all the support I have from family and friends I'm not to worried about it. I'm really excited for what my major has instore for me in the near future and the many opportunitites that come along with it. Hopefully, I don't change my major like so many college students end up doing.
And so it is.
