This evening I watched my first scifi show ever. From my assumptions of scifi it was way different from what I expected. I never would have thought of having a space western setting. The drama in the show was great I thought and the characters were develeoped really well. The quality of the whole episode was amazing and I actually found myself wanting to find out more. The technology used wasn't that bizarre to my surprise and I was also shocked that this big ailien (undefined species) didn't pop out and attack or something. However, now, I realize that I had a stereotypical view toward the genre of scifi.
Finally, I'm glad that I was exposed to this genre to make me more understanding and well rounded as a person. I'm also excited to see what else is in store for me in the next coming weeks of the quarter.
And so it is.
I could have done with a little more realistic acting myself.
ReplyDeleteI used to watch and love scifi shows, but this one is so different. It doesn't have all the fancy technologies like other scifi episodes.
